Help shape what comes next
A new inclusive community experience is being explored.
We are gathering input from families about a welcoming, membership-based community for individuals with disabilities—centered on friendship, sensory-friendly activities, meaningful choice, dependable schedules, and individualized growth.
Your experience can help determine the right ages, schedules, activities, supports, transportation options, and pilot model.
Every engagement starts with the learner, the goal, and the context—not a one-size-fits-all program.

A vision for the nation’s premier outcomes-based independence center
Not simply a place for care. A place built for outcomes.
We envision a place where children and young adults with disabilities build real-life independence while their families finally have time to breathe.
“Every step forward matters. Independence is built one skill, one success, and one meaningful experience at a time.”
Signature program
Passport to Independence™
A purposeful journey through real-world experiences and practical milestones that help each participant move toward greater choice, confidence, and autonomy.
People
Independence Coaches
Trained team members who guide, encourage, observe, and help participants practice skills in ways that feel engaging, respectful, and achievable.
Progress
Independence Index™
A planned measurement framework for documenting growth in meaningful life skills so families can see progress beyond attendance or hours of care.
Philosophy
Purpose in Every Experience
Activities will be intentionally designed around an outcome—building everyday capability, participation, belonging, and confidence.
An intentionally different environment
A place they will want to return to.
The initial concept imagines approximately 1,800–2,500 square feet designed less like a school and more like a boutique children’s museum, welcoming café, and modern community center—beautiful, active, practical, and full of possibility.
We empower children, teens, and young adults with disabilities to build lifelong independence through meaningful experiences, while giving caregivers the confidence and time to recharge.
Vision
To become the region’s most trusted community for building independence, creating belonging, and strengthening families beyond the school day.
More than programs, we create opportunities. We do not define success by hours of care. We define it by greater independence, stronger families, and brighter futures.
Development concept only. Programs, staffing qualifications, eligibility, location, licensing, schedules, and opening dates have not been finalized. No care, respite, or clinical services are currently offered through the center.
